This was a 12-month engagement with Knight Prince Group, supporting the rollout of a device financing platform for MTN Zambia. The objective was simple: make devices more accessible by allowing customers to finance purchases instead of paying upfront. This would increase device sales and improve customer experience.

The Problem

Before the platform, device financing approval relied heavily on traditional bank processes. This created serious bottlenecks. Customers faced long waiting times for approval. There was constant manual back-and-forth between customers, banks, and MTN staff. People got tired of waiting and walked away.

MTN Zambia needed a solution that reduced friction, sped up approvals, and allowed customers to walk out with a device the same day they applied. The challenge was not just building a platform.
