Before the platform, device financing approval relied heavily on traditional bank processes. This created serious bottlenecks. Customers faced long waiting times for approval. There was constant manual back-and-forth between customers, banks, and MTN staff. People got tired of waiting and walked away.
MTN Zambia needed a solution that reduced friction, sped up approvals, and allowed customers to walk out with a device the same day they applied. The challenge was not just building a platform.
